Love knows no limits.  It tends towards God and embraces all that He renders lovable.  It is this conviction that prompts our response to God’s call.

In the sacrifice of the Cross, the mystery of God’s love and Providence is fully expressed.  For this reason we Rosminian Sisters are consecrated to “the Crucified Jesus and to his Sorrowful Mother”, that is, to the greatest love of all, because on Calvary we experience love in its fullness.

Our life is motivated by the desire to be like Christ in his total self-giving.

Slowly the lesson of the crucified Christ penetrates to the very core of our being.   Each of us takes it to heart in our fragile human condition and nurtures it with the energy of grace, until everything in us reveals the love which the Father bestows upon us through his Son on the Cross.

Through our experience of community living and apostolate, we Rosminian Sisters gradually come to understand that love for the Crucified Christ is a demanding love.  It is not simply a feeling, nor is it the search for some particular good.  The love that we are called to develop within us is an act of the will which puts into practice the Father’s will and shares the same goal: our happiness and the happiness of those around us.

It is a reality which holds within itself the power of the Cross.  Day by day, following the example of the Redeemer and his Mother, we progress towards the total gift of ourselves until we recognize in every person the face of Christ.
